Advisor Strategy

A high-capability advisor plans and checks; cheaper executors do the volume work.

Active scenario: busy. A production advisor split has routing, parallel executors, retries, and review all moving at once.

Metrics: judgment used: high; cost pressure: medium; routing complexity: high.

Nodes: Queue, user: Mixed requests arrive with different risk, cost, and ambiguity profiles. Router, tool: Rules and cheap classifiers split easy work from uncertain work. Planner, control: A planning step turns hard requests into instructions for cheaper executors. Plan, state: A compact plan becomes instructions that cheaper models can execute. Haiku, worker: Fast extraction, classification, normalization, and other high-volume chores. Sonnet, worker: The default executor handles drafting and moderate reasoning. Gate, review: Confidence, retries, policy flags, and rubric scores decide what escalates. Opus, control: Escalated cases get premium review before retry or delivery. Output, state: Only the expensive decisions take the expensive path.
